Ducie Island

#1

Post by WZ7U »

Is anyone else having fun with the lidfest known as the Ducie Island DXpedition? Of course, the relay in the amp is being stupid and keeping receive from fully returning unless I rattle it a half a dozen times. Between that and the lids, I have to wonder over my relative sanity.

Congrats, Eric.
What application is that?

The page says "DXA3 realtime logging" although I don't know much beyond that. I'm sure somewhere it is gone into here - https://vp6d.com/index.php

It appears to be something they developed for the DXpedition...

I'm not having much luck hearing them. When I do they are so weak I can't even hear the lids calling them.

Three bands now. Trying to copy their lightning fast cw, but all I regularly get is the 5NN and TU. I even downloaded a CW reader for the android, which isn't so hot, but unable to snag a CW on 40 yet. Ooohh, they're back up. I'm surprised ASE is having trouble getting them. I thought I was in a radio dead zone....
