The tool uses the Radio Horizon to find the range of the TV antenna. Here are the heights of some TV towers in the USA.
Example Calculation
The KXTV/KOVR tower in Walnut Grove California is 624.5 meters above ground. If your antenna is 10 feet above ground, the maximum range is 68 miles or 110 km.
